We are currently recruiting for Wheelchair Assistants with an ASAP start. This is a temp to perm role. In order to apply for the role you would need to meet the following requirements:

• Physically fit as you will be required to do a lot of walking throughout the day as well as help lift passengers out of wheelchair and into/out of aircraft seat
• Ideally with a customer service background and a basic understanding of disability
• A good standard of verbal and written English
• A full EU/UK driving license necessary.
• Be able to provide a 5 year work history/unemployment /education history
• Pay rate will be minimum wage p/h.


Duties:

• Pushing wheelchairs in the baggage areas
• Helping passengers make their way from check-in to their departing flight
• Meeting passengers in arrivals who require assistance
• To be able to physically lift passengers out of an aircraft seat into a wheelchair (as a team) and vice versa

All applicants will undergo a CRB check in order to qualify for work. Your standard of English must be good in order to complete the 3 days training.
